The County Government of Nyandarua will work closely with Nyandarua National Polytechnic to ensure that all youth requiring skilling and upgrading of their vocational training are adequately catered for.
Speaking when he hosted a delegation of the institution’s Governing Council in his office, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses Kiarie Badilisha said that as “the highest academic institution in our County, my Government will work very closely with you to ensure we have both national programmes but also tailor-made academic and technical curriculum for our youth, staff and those graduating from our VTCs and wishing to upgrade.”
Prof. Evelyn Wagaiyu, the Council’s chair, expressed the institution’s willingness to partner with the County Government in training and “other areas of mutual interest which our both entities can benefit from. And as an institution we count on your support to realize these objectives as we continue to serve a large population of our youth.”
The two parties are expected to escalate the engagement and explore more areas of cooperation and partnership.
