Nyandarua Governor, H.E. Daniel Waithaka Mwangi spent the whole of Tuesday May 3rd, 2016 in Githioro Ward, Kipipiri sub county where he inspected on-going development projects undertaken by his administration.
The Governor was accompanied by area MCA Hon. Silvestre Kagiri and Cabinet Members Agatha Thuo (Agriculture), Julius Muthanwa (Roads), Gitau Thabanja (Lands), Nderi Ndiani (Finance), Peter Macharia (Education) and Dr. Peter Mbugua (Health).
The Governor opened a dispensary, two ECD classes, a 31 bed maternity center, inspected roads and water projects, interacted with farmers and saw bridges that are under construction.
The Governor “sampled” the famous Gachuha bridge in Gathiriga that has existed since independence but where his administration is putting up a Sh 20 million bridge to connect two ridges, that is Gathiriga and Mumui.
