Speaking at Wanjohi town, His Excellency Governor Francis Kimemia assured residents of his continued efforts to fulfil his promises to all Nyandarua residents.
“We do not want people to be calling home asking whether it has rained before they travel. We assure residents that impassable roads shall be a thing of the past under my Government,” he said.
The County Government, through the Department of Transport, Energy and Public Works has set aside Kshs. 15 million for the roads sector within Wanjohi Ward this financial year.

The County head also said the agriculture sector will soon be streamlined through continuous provision of subsidized fertilizers, access to water and involvement of marginalized groups.
“His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta is also working with us to fast-track enforcement of the 50 kilograms potato packaging law to curb arbitrary action by middlemen, who have been a menace in our region,” he added.
