Badilisha Kiarie\u2019s partnership with His Excellency President(Dr.) William Ruto under the National Government\u2019s Affordable Housing Program will yield 100 units of houses in Nyandarua within a year.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Speaking during a briefing in Ol\u2019Kalou with County Executive Committee Member for Public Works, Roads, Transport, Housing and Energy Hon. Cecilia Kirira, officials from the National Housing Corporation (NHC) said the units will include 20 studios apartments, 40 one-bedroom and 40 two-bedroom houses.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Payment for the houses will involve a 10 per cent first installment, with the rest of the money being paid over 18 years.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">To register for the allocation, one must be a Kenyan citizen aged 18 years and above, have a valid national identity card and possess a valid Personal Identification Number (PIN) certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Hon. Kirira noted that the program caters for housing needs of Nyandarua\u2019s low- income earners while bridging the gap of inadequate housing in line with the Governor\u2019s transformative agenda, which she added has been bolstered by the President\u2019s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Present were Chief Officer of Tourism, Trade and Industrialization Mr. Samuel Gitaka, alongside directors QS.
