11 youth groups across the County are going to be trained on financial literacy, life skills and digital media

To ensure Nyandarua’s young people can earn a living through online spaces, His Excellency Governor (Dr.) Moses N. Badilisha Kiarie is partnering with DanchurchAid’s Ajira Poa Project team to train 11 youth groups across the County on financial literacy, life skills and digital media.

County Executive Committee Member for Youth Empowerment, Sports and Arts Hon. Catherine Gitau distributed 11 smartphones to the groups this afternoon to support the current cohort, comprising 100 youths from Kariamu, Kaptein, Kasuku and Nyakarianga.

Held at the Youth Empowerment Center in Ol’Kalou Sub-County, the colourful event was also attended by the department’s Chief Officer Mr. John Kariuki and Director for Youth Empowerment Mr. Jackson Muiruri.
